Intrepid Solutions has open a GEOINT Systems Engineer position supporting our US Army TENCAP client to help enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence national capabilities and architectures in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities

The GEOINT Analyst shall:  

  • Provide assessments and evaluations on performance and feasibility of existing and proposed Terrestrial, Aerial, and Space-based GEOINT components of architectures, including identification of performance, cost, and schedule risk, and prepare recommendations for consideration.
  • Participate in forums with external organizations concerning employment, acquisition, and development of GEOINT collection, processing exploitation, and dissemination systems.
  • Recommend and evaluate GEOINT policy, architecture, requirements, and system development decisions for client staff.
  • Provide GEOINT expertise on the operations of GEOINT systems and tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Participate in GEOINT portions of training.

 

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.

 

TRAVEL:

  • Limited or minimal travel expected.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline; OR Associate's degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline + 4 years of work experience; OR 6 years of work experience.

 

CERTIFICATION(S):

  • Certified GIS Professional (GISP) certification, National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) GEOINT Professional certification, Army GEOINT / Imagery Analyst Leadership Course, or Army Foundry GEOINT training or comparable certification preferred.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of experience as a GEOINT Analyst in the Intelligence Community (IC) or DOD, OR a minimum of 7 years of experience providing subject matter expertise to DoD GEOINT programs / projects.
  • Experience on the operation of National and Tactical GEOINT systems and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures recommended.

Job Type: Full-time (onsite)

Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
